The history of Loreto Aprutino is quite old, it dates back to the Roman era. You can visit its many churches, museum and craft shops.

Don't miss the traditional folklore event held every year on Pentecost Sunday and Monday, the "Festa of S. Zopito" (Festival of St. Zopito).

To visit: the entire historical centre of the city, the church of Santa Maria in Piano whit its "Giudizio Universale" (Universal Judgement), the Acerbo Museum, the Antiquarium Museum, the Museum of Rural Civilisation and many wineries and oil mills. From a cultural and productive viewpoint, Loreto Aprutino is an important wine and olive growing centre.
